I liked reading this blog, a lot of good information on how to warmup and jump rope techniques for different kinds of athletes. What are the best jump rope techniques for a hockey player?
Thanks for the comment. Hockey players use the leg muscles that help them move laterally a lot, so I would do both 2 legged and 1 legged lateral jumps when jump roping. They also need to be explosive, so well conditioned hockey players can do more intense jump intervals, like 30 seconds continuous jumping, followed by 30 seconds recovery, and repeat….
